Catching Up...

The three of us are doing very well these days. Maggie is an incredible blessing that Tina and I are enjoying so much. Her little personality is coming out and sometimes we wonder where she gets her 'class clown' seeming disposition. Like any baby, she has her fussy moments. And unlike her dad, she actually does not like to eat everything we put in front of her face. Those things add to the fun.

She had her first night out on Saturday as Tina and I celebrated Tina's 33rd birthday. Maggie stayed with Mimi and Papi all night long. I heard a good time was had by all! Mom and I were a little worried about her, but Mimi kept texting us pictures: Maggie eating dinner, Maggie playing in the morning, Maggie in her new walker cruising around the house.

Tina and I had a nice, relaxed day although both of us were fighting colds. We saw a couple movies: Juno at the theater in the afternoon, Bourne Ultimatum in the evening On Demand as we ate take out fajitas. Both were good, but in different ways. I won't bore anyone w/ movie critiques. If I really knew how to put a website together, I'd have a separate tab on the side for such things.

I'm doing my best to confirm that my little girl cheers appropriately on football Saturdays. Obviously, she could probably care less, but over time she'll understand. Go Dawgs!

Three months old

Time flies. Our little girl hit the three month mark on 6/28. She's growing and smiling and cooing and sleeping a good bit at night. Tina went back to work this week, so we're going through some interesting emotions. Our goal is to figure out a way to keep little Maggie home w/ Mommy, but right now our lot is daycare. Dad now has to share more of the night-time duties which is tough but sweet at the same time. Looking at that sweet face in the middle of the night has its advantages.

One Month Old

Our little girl turned 1 month this past weekend on 4/28. I'm not sure when you start going from four weeks = 1 month to going from the date of the previous month to the new month, i.e. 3/28 to 4/28, but I'll assume it doesn't matter. Here she is in a big pile of stuffed animals. Her 5 yr old cousin Reese loves little Maggie and enjoyed situating the stuffed animals around her for the photo op.

Tina and I now have our first little baby! We just got a new house together! We have a dog! We needed a blog.
